Media Advisory: Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield to Brief Media on Highlights of the U.S. Presidency of the UN Security Council during August 2023

Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield, United States Representative to the United Nations, will brief members of the media from the UN Security Council (UNSC) stakeout on Thursday, August 31, at 9:15 a.m. EDT, on the end of the U.S. Presidency of the UNSC during the month of August.

The Ambassador will highlight U.S. successes during the presidency, including advancing our key priorities of ending famine, combatting food insecurity in conflict, and defending human rights.

The press conference will be broadcast live via UN WebTV: https://media.un.org/en/webtv.
