Media Advisory: Ambassador Thomas-Greenfield to Co-Host World Refugee Day Event with UN High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi and Former Refugees

The United States Mission to the United Nations and the UN Refugee Agency will host a virtual event, “World Refugee Day: The Power of Inclusion,” on Tuesday, June 15, at 9:15 a.m. EDT. Representative of the United States to the United Nations Linda Thomas-Greenfield and UN High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi will each give remarks and engage in a conversation with former refugees from Rwanda, Iraq, and Colombia, moderated by Del Irani.
