Media Advisory: Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield to lead U.S. Delegation to the Conference of the States Parties to the UN Convention Against Corruption
The United States Mission to the United Nations today announced the U.S. delegation to the Tenth session of the Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention Against Corruption (UNCAC) to be held December 11-15, 2023, in Atlanta.
U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Linda Thomas-Greenfield will serve as Head of Delegation.
Ambassador Thomas-Greenfield will deliver a keynote address to share how the BidenAdministration’s anti-corruption efforts are making a tangible impact on citizens around the globe, including by supporting youth participation in government, supporting civil society, and strengthening protection of journalists and freedom of speech.
The biennial COSP is the preeminent global multilateral forum focused on advancing anti-corruption efforts and is responsible for promoting UNCAC implementation. It convenes the Convention’s 190 States Parties, as well as representatives from international organizations and NGOs. This is the first time the United States has hosted the UNCAC COSP.
