U.S. Representative to the United Nations Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield met with Colombia’s Vice President Marta Lucía Ramírez on March 2. Ambassador Thomas-Greenfield and Vice President Ramírez discussed the strong partnership between the United States and Colombia. Ambassador Thomas-Greenfield thanked Vice President Ramírez for Colombia’s leadership in denouncing Russia’s unprovoked invasion of Ukraine, and for its generosity toward Venezuelan refugees and migrants. Ambassador Thomas-Greenfield reiterated the United States’ commitment to helping Colombia continue to implement the landmark 2016 Peace Accord.
