Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield, U.S. Representative to the United Nations, spoke today with UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs Deputy Regional Humanitarian Coordinator for Syria David Carden.

Ambassador Thomas-Greenfield thanked OCHA for their work managing the UN’s assistance to the people of Syria.

The Ambassador reiterated that the U.S. will use all means available to advocate for expanded humanitarian access and to deliver U.S. humanitarian assistance to the Syrian people, in coordination with the UN, NGOs, and other donors.

She emphasized that  the United States is steadfast in our commitment to the Syrian people.
