Readout of Ambassador Thomas-Greenfield’s Meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of International Relations & Cooperation Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah

Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield, U.S. Representative to the United Nations, met today with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of International Relations & Cooperation Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah in Windhoek, Namibia.

Ambassador Thomas-Greenfield and Deputy Prime Minister Nandi-Ndaitwah discussed opportunities to deepen the partnership between Namibia and the United States, including to address climate and energy security and how to advance shared values of democracy, peace, and prosperity across the African continent.

In addition to their meeting, Thomas-Greenfield and Nandi-Ndaitwah both spoke and shared the stage at the dedication ceremony of the new U.S. Embassy compound.
